SIZE: To fit an 8-cup Cafetiere. Can be easily adapted to different sizes.
Materials required
Less than 50g of 'Wendy Aran with Wool' (Aran weight Yarn)
4.5mm (US 6) Straight needles
4 lengths 25.5cm approx 10", of 1/4" wide ribbon
Method
Cast on 27sts
Seed Stitch/Moss Stitch pattern
Each row: sl1, * k1, p1, rep from * to end of row
Work in pattern until piece measures 25.5cm or around 10"
Cast off and weave in ends
Stitch one ribbon to each corner of the main body, (top and bottom)making sure that they are stitched close to the edge to avoid gaping.
Place cosy around your cafetiere with the gap at the place where the handle is. Tie close with a bow, top and bottom of cosy.
